THE PROBLEM

- Hydrogen storage, compression and process safety add further constraints that must be coordinated.

THE TECHNOLOGY DIFFERENTIATOR
- Hierarchical control: primary → secondary → tertiary levels.
- Fast PI/PI loops stabilize DC voltage and converter currents.
- Process PID loops manage temperature, pressure and flows.
- MPC/EMS optimizes on a minutes-to-hours horizon using forecasts, constraints and operating objectives.
- Safety systems (SIS/ESD, H₂ detection, ventilation, ATEX/interlocks) have priority over optimization.
